About me

I have more than 10 years of experience in the gastronomic area and have worked for prestigious hotels such as Westin Playa Conchal, Hotel Mangroove and Hotel Harmony where I have learned all kinds of cuisine, so I feel totally confident that I can satisfy my clients with any kind of food they want.

I consider myself a humble person and above all grateful to God for the opportunities he has given me throughout my life as well as my family.

I like sports, surfing and soccer. I also really enjoy fishing.

It was a real treat for our family to have Chef Jose and his sister cook for us at the house. The food was delicious, fresh and more than enough for our family. We had enough leftovers for a great lunch the next day. They were extremely professional, friendly and efficient and took care of everything. A nice change from having to go to a restaurant. Highly recommend his service!

We had two exceptional meals with Jose and his team. The service was so lovely and the food delicious. I highly recommend having this experience as part of your holiday, we will definitely include JAM in all future trips to CR!

Chef Jose and his amazing team cooked three incredible meals for us on our Nosara vacation. Food was delicious, healthy, and he handled all the shopping and clean up. Highly recommended.

Jose and his team were delightful and prepared a lovely meal for us. We had never had a private chef before and as our first experience, the food was not only delicious but he was extremely personable. The guacamole was the best I've ever had and the tuna tartar was a beautiful presentation. A wonderful evening if you're looking to be pampered and a little extravagant.

We can’t say enough about Jose and his team! Not only did he make the most incredible and beautiful meals, he made everything feel so special for our family. We would highly recommend him for a private meal while you’re in Nosara! You won’t be disappointed. Five stars plus!

José and Randy were professionals. From the apron, to the service, to ensuring everything tasted perfect to us. Finding fresh flowers and placing them on our table as a centerpiece. They came to our rental and served four of us authentic Costa Rican dishes that were crafted with flavor, presentation, and so much passion. They both were so kind and easy to chat with. We spent time talking with them and learning more about them. They both understood our English and were great conversationalists and they were also recommending other local places for us to check out before we leave as well.The food was perfection (extremely fresh and full of flavor). We were able to keep all the delicious leftovers and were so thankful! This is an experience you cannot skip out on if you’re in the area! José is a true chef and we were all so impressed by his skills and passion.Bonus: they brought everything to cook, then cleaned everything before leaving!We hope to see them again when we return and definitely recommend to anyone who wants a FIVE start dining experience from the comfort of your rental!
